COURSE SYNOPSIS

This course is an advanced level on Eurocode 2, which replaces the old British Standards BS 8110. It aims to educate young civil engineers and older practicing engineers on adopting and applying Eurocode 2 provisions in reinforced concrete structures. The course covers design steps for reinforced concrete elements in beams, slabs, columns, walls, tall buildings, framed structures, seismic-resistant structures, and liquid-resisting structures. The target audience for this advanced course is young civil and structural engineers who want a deeper understanding of reinforced concrete design. It also benefits older practicing structural engineers who want to know more about Eurocode 2 and its applications in complex high-rise concrete structures design, earthquake resistance, and water-resisting capability. The course is offered at an advanced level on Eurocode 2, with references to other Eurocode suites.

Cancellation Policy
IEMTA reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, allocate or cancel the course. Full refund less 30% if cancellation is received in writing more than 7 days before the start of the event. No cancellation will be accepted prior to the date of the event. However, replacement or substitute may be made at any time with prior notification and substitute will be charged according to membership status.
