OVERVIEW

Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) training covers the knowledge and skills required to perform inspection, survey and analysis of energy flows for energy conservation in a building, process or system to reduce the amount of energy input into the system without negatively affecting the output. The training also covers the use of energy audit tools and report writing skills. Led by experienced energy auditors and managers, trainees will be exposed to real-life examples of performing energy audit tasks, things to do and not do, and updated input from the industry. Eventually to allow the Certified Energy Auditor to be the one qualified to audit any facility especially those covered by EMEER 2008 Regulations or any energy audit programme by the Government and their agencies and will be acknowledged by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

To provide structure to the practice of energy auditing and raise the professional standards of those engaged in energy auditing.

TRAINER

Ir. Al-Khairi Mohd Daud graduated with a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from University of Leeds, UK and MBA from UNITAR International University. He is a Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and a Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) with Energy Commission Malaysia. He has 25 years of experience in project and maintenance of various plants and facilities, energy management consultancy, audit, facilities management advisory, at both government and private sector. He is also one of the regular lecturer/instructor for the Ministry of Health Malaysia and Energy Commission Malaysia on facilities and energy management.

REQUIREMENTS

• To be a Certified Energy Auditor, participant is required to submit a Report with actual data.
• Upon submitting complete report and approved by the committee, participant would qualify to be a Certified Energy Auditor.

FULL PAYMENT must be settled before commencement of the course, otherwise participants will not be allowed to enter the hall. If a place is reserved and the intended participants fail to attend the course, the fee is to be settled in full.
Fee paid is not refundable. Registration fee includes lecture notes and refreshment.
IEM Training Academy Sdn Bhd (IEMTA) reserves the right to cancel, alter, or change the program due to unforeseen circumstances. Every effort will be made to inform the registered participants of any changes. In view of the limited places available, intending participants are advised to send their registrations as early as possible so as to avoid disappointment.
Please be informed that the course will only be carried out if there is sufficient number of participants. The confirmation or cancellation email will be sent to the registered email address one or two weeks before the event dates.

Cancellation Policy

IEMTA reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, allocate or cancel the course. Full refund less 30% if cancellation is received in writing more than 7 days before the start of the event. No cancellation will be accepted prior to the date of the event. However, replacement or substitute may be made at any time with prior notification and substitute will be charged according to membership status.
