Course Overview
Process simulation software such as Proll becomes one of the important tools for digital transformation in refineries, petrochemicals, and chemical plants. This course aims to provide the participants with the skill on how to apply chemical/process engineering concepts using Proll to do process modelling and simulation, to solve process engineering problems such as debottlenecking, sensitivity analysis, and optimization.
Objective
To demonstrate how to use Proll for:
- Modeling and simulation typical unit operations
- Case studies, sensitivity analysis and optimization
Our Speaker
Ir. Zulfan Adi Putra
Zulfan is a process engineer who’s very passionate in solving chemical engineering problems via process simulation, mathematical modeling and optimization, data analysis, and statistics. Throughout his career both in industries and academia, he has been involved in various projects from R&D (process synthesis, conceptual process design, feasibility studies, techno-economic analysis), basic engineering, process plant improvements, and optimization. As hobbies, he has been volunteering to share various chemical engineering applications to university students, being an industrial advisor and field supervisor, and one of the mentors for the robotic program at his kids’ school.
