Overview

The half day CDP course on Energy Performance Contracts (EPCs) provides a comprehensive overview of how EPCs can drive energy efficiency improvements in buildings and facilities without requiring upfront capital investment. Participants will gain insights into the legal and regulatory framework in Malaysia, project development processes, measurement and verification (M&V) protocols, and financial structuring of EPC projects. Through case studies and best practices, the half day course highlights how organizations can reduce energy consumption, lower operational costs, and meet carbon reduction targets under the Malaysian Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA).

Payment Options
​Participants are required to settle the course fee before the commencement of the course. Payment can be made using one of the following methods:

1. SBL-KHAS Scheme - IEMTA must receive the approval notification from the Human Resources Development Corporation (HRDC) at least two (2) days before the course date.

2. Bank Transfer - All course fees must be transferred to the following account:

Liability - IEMTA shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from any changes to or cancellation of the course.
Cancellation and Substitution Policy
​IEMTA reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, reallocate, or cancel the course if necessary.
A refund of the course fee, less a 30% administrative charge, will be issued for cancellations submitted in writing more than seven (7) days before the course start date.
No cancellations will be accepted within seven (7) days of the course date. However, participant substitutions are allowed at any time with prior written notice, and the replacement will be charged based on their membership status.

Data Privacy (PDPA) - Participant information collected during registration will be used solely for IEMTA’s administrative and communication purposes. It will not be shared with third parties without prior consent, except where required by law.

Acceptance of Terms - By registering, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. It is the participant’s responsibility to review and comprehend all terms prior to registration.
